DESCRIPTION
The shredder is manufactured with a heavy-duty reinforced plate steel filling hopper. The hopper is gravity fed which ensures a continuous supply of the material being shredded without any manual assistance. The material can be loaded by forklift tilt type bins, conveyor belt or by hand.

The filling hopper is acoustically encapsulated and lined, ready for additional sections (as required to suit the user;s individual requirements, for example extending the height or adding a winged hopper extension and fitting a manually or hydraulically operated hinged or sliding top lid, complete with safety interlock system).

The hydraulically controlled ram feeds the material automatically into the rotor using load-related controls. The smart ram system is load related on the control cabinet by key switch. The internal ram guides are made of extremely non-abrasive plastic (Polyamide) and can be adjusted. The hydraulic cylinders are mounted on universal joints in order to avoid lateral forces on the piston cups.

The patented V: Rotor is made of solid steel and has a diameter of 368mm. It operates at speeds of 60-100 rpm. The tough concave four-way rotating knives are mounted onto special holders located in small pockets. This unique system allows a reduced cutting gap between the counter knife and the rotor, ensuring maximum throughput and lower power consumption.

The screen mounted beneath the rotor determines the size of the required fraction.

Power is transmitted from the electromotors by belts via a high-dimension gearbox, which is located on the shaft end on one side of the rotor.
