Advantages of the LPS-T band saw

Unsurpassed precision and cutting performance
High cutting accuracy, smooth running, and long blade life are due to the special, torsion-resistant design of the saw frame. Unique feature: the force application of the saw feed is located directly below the cutting point.

Servo feed system
The use of the Behringer servo feed system ensures a constant chip removal rate and makes better use of the capabilities of modern saw blades. The rapid response of the servo feed system to the sensors of the cutting pressure control consistently prevents overloads and premature wear of the saw blades.

Chip conveyor as standard
Below the saw unit, directly in the direction of chip flow, there is a large chip conveyor with an integrated coolant tank. The chips and coolant generated are collected and separated in this tank. For cleaning and maintenance work, the conveyor can be moved out of the machine frame.

Adjustable material support table
For easy loading and unloading using a crane, the material table under the saw unit can be moved out.

NC measuring device

Optionally, the LPS-T band saw can be equipped with an NC-controlled measuring device. The cutting depth is digitally pre-programmed in the control panel. The material to be cut can be quickly aligned on the measuring device when placed and then securely clamped. This significantly speeds up the setup process.

Fast blade change
ensures the shortest setup times. In just two to three steps, the saw blade can be brought into the change position.

Blade guide parts made of cast iron
are made by Behringer and ensure vibration damping directly at the cutting point, thus increasing the tool life.
Compact
Due to its compact dimensions, the band saw can be installed even in confined spaces.

Driven duplex chip brushes
effectively clean the saw blade, thereby increasing the tool life. The brushes are automatically adjusted to the saw blade and ensure consistent cleaning performance.
