CORMAK LUP16 Log Splitter – Professional 16-Ton Vertical Hydraulic Wood Splitter

The CORMAK LUP16 is a professional vertical hydraulic log splitter designed for intensive use in farms, sawmills, and wood processing facilities. Thanks to its robust construction, high operating performance, and a hydraulic cylinder generating 16 tons of splitting force, the machine easily handles large-diameter logs. This reliable hydraulic wood splitter combines efficiency with precise operation, making it an excellent solution for continuous-duty applications.

Main advantages of the machine
16-ton splitting force – efficiently splits hard, wet, and seasoned wood with large diameters.
Vertical working design – optimised for heavy logs and provides ergonomic operation.
Hydraulic system with overload protection valve – protects the pump and hydraulic system against excessive loads.
High-performance gear pump – ensures consistent oil flow and reliable long-term operation.
Adjustable splitting speed – allows precise adjustment depending on the type of wood (from 4.6 to 14.2 cm/s).
Log lifting system – makes positioning heavy logs under the wedge easier and reduces physical effort.
Design and technology

The CORMAK LUP16 splitter is built on a robust steel frame with increased resistance to deformation, while all working components are designed for continuous operation. The angled splitting wedge improves penetration into the wood, reducing the splitting cycle time.

The machine is powered by a three-phase 4.5 kW (400 V) electric motor, providing sufficient power for intensive splitting of thick and hard wood.

Precision and work efficiency

The LUP16 model allows processing logs up to 1100 mm in length and 700 mm in diameter, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications. The 948 mm wedge stroke ensures complete splitting in a single cycle.

The adjustable splitting speed range of 4.6–14.2 cm/s and return speed of 6.2 cm/s allow the operator to optimise performance for maximum productivity.
