DEA (brown & sharpe) DEA FIVE

The FIVE clamping system consists of a series of height-adjustable columns that serve as workpiece holders. The columns are available in different heights in order to be able to test the workpieces also in their later installation form.
An air cushion on the underside of the columns ensures that the columns move smoothly on the measuring plate. Powerful magnets block the column as soon as the air supply decreases.
The measuring software guides a gripper, which is attached to the quill of the measuring machine, to the correct position. This enables the operator to quickly place the column at the calculated set point.
A wide selection of interchangeable support and clamping modules allows the configuration of specific referencing modules for each clamping position. The referencing modules ensure that the workpiece can be attached to the FIVE column in a repeatable manner. This allows the workpiece to be removed from the measuring table as required.
The accessories can be upgraded with new accessories according to customer requirements.
