For trimming off-cuts and remnant cuts at an angular system. The off-cuts and remnant strips are conveyed directly from the shaker chute of the longitudinal saw into the cross-cutting machine, where they are cut down to approx. 200 – 400 mm.
Trimming is performed by a hydraulically operated cutting blade.

Head and edge trimmings drop down through the waste flap into a shaker chute below. This chute conveys the remnants to a shredder (cross-cutting machine). From there, the shredded waste is transported, e.g. via a waste conveyor belt, into a scrap container.
