HURTH MODUL / SERWEMA WF 250

The WF 250 is the classic machine for gear cutting in the gearbox, drive, and supplier sectors: compact, rigid, and quickly retoolable. Serwema Retrofit Solutions, Chemnitz, completely overhauls the machine and delivers it with Siemens Sinumerik ONE, the latest generation of control systems, ensuring full availability of spare parts and support. Proven Hurth module kinematics, new electrical systems, new drives, new safety technology: you get the performance of a new machine at a fraction of the price – inspected in Chemnitz, together with you.

The machine mills spur and helical gears, as well as shafts, up to a module of 6 and a workpiece diameter of 250 mm. With an extended stand and counter-stand, long shafts and pinion shafts with a distance of up to 900 mm between the cutter axis and the table surface can be securely clamped. The milling head pivots by ±55°, the cutter speed ranges from 75 to 600 rpm, and the tangential travel of 240 mm utilizes the full cutter length for long service life.

The machine is delivered with a new Siemens Sinumerik ONE control system and Sinamics S120 drives in a climate-controlled control cabinet of our own manufacture. The user-friendly interface enables easy setup and programming without in-depth G-code knowledge. Geometry acceptance is carried out according to manufacturer standards or DIN with a protocol. The scope of delivery also includes the complete machine enclosure with state-of-the-art safety technology, an extended stand and counter-stand, a new paint job in RAL 5015/7035, a magnetic chip conveyor, circulation and loss lubrication, a hydraulic unit, a coolant system, and the operating manual.
