When installed outdoors, the load-bearing capacity is reduced by the wind and snow load.

The subsurface must be made of concrete, level and dowel-capable and must be able to bear the loads. The condition of the soil and load-bearing capacity as well as any official permits required must be checked and guaranteed by the customer.

The shelf supports must be anchored to the floor on site; anchoring to the wall is not necessary and not recommended.
According to the trade association, it is recommended that the shelf supports on the top storage level have a projection of at least 500 mm above the top edge of the supports.
