MODUL / SERWEMA ZFWZ 5000 / SW WF 5000

This is one of the few machines on the market that can mill external and internal gearings up to 5000 mm in diameter in a single setup – and it comes with a control system that is designed to last for the next 20 years. The ZFWZ 5000 originates from the Chemnitz gear machine construction division of Modul and is completely overhauled and delivered with a Siemens Sinumerik ONE control system by Serwema Retrofit Solutions – the company that has the Modul drawing archive in-house. Proven kinematics, new electrical components, new drives, new safety technology: you get the performance of a new machine at a fraction of the price and with a delivery time of just 12 months.

What the machine can do:

External gearings, straight and helical, up to module 40 in hobbing, up to module 50 with single indexing.
Internal gearings with internal milling attachment – gear rings for large roller bearings, rotary joints, planetary hollow gears for wind power, mining, crane and ship technology.
Workpieces up to Ø 5000 mm on a 4000 mm table, milling head swiveling ±45°.
82 kW drive power at the milling head – roughing with high material removal rates, finishing with precision.
