Reitruder RZE 85
EXTRUSION
Among other innovations, the co-rotating twin-screw extruder Reitruder RZE 58 was the highlight of Reifenhäuser’s presentation at the NPE trade fair. A differentiated concept with new design elements was introduced. The screw geometry has been adapted to meet changing requirements by incorporating deeper channel depths and a redesigned feed section. These modifications improve feeding when processing PET flakes or regrind and increase the capacity for adding fillers. This results in significant advantages when processing lower-quality raw materials. Furthermore, increased degassing efficiency enables processing of material with moisture levels up to 0.5%. As a result, pre-drying requirements are minimized.
