The tanks are constructed from carbon steel with an internal food-grade epoxy coating, combined with polyurethane insulation and stainless steel external cladding. This design represents a traditional and cost-efficient alternative to stainless steel tanks, which became standard in later years. Thanks to their large volume and isobaric capability, these tanks are particularly suitable for high-capacity production environments. As with all epoxy-coated vessels, regular inspection and renewal of the internal coating is required, depending on operating conditions.
