The TPW 16 VL - LK has a payload capacity of 16,000 kg on the loading platform at 6 km/h. The dimensions are 5,000 mm long, 2,000 mm wide, and approximately 640 mm high. It features a turntable steering system on the front axle and a rigid trailing axle. The drawbar is equipped with a drop safety device, and the forged towing eye has a 40 mm bore. Heavy-duty banded tires 425 x 150-305 are fitted as twin wheels on steel rims and sealed on both sides with tapered roller bearings using a Nilos ring. For safety, four welded-on lashing brackets are fitted to the longitudinal sides (for load securing), and a double-acting wheel chock is mounted on the frame. The paint finish is yellow-orange RAL 2000. The transport floor is made of 30 mm tongue-and-groove boards, countersunk and bolted.
