GRAF SYNERGY SD 500-S8

The SD 500 industrial double-head saw with a hydropneumatic feed system for the cutting discs is a machine model with cutting discs that extend from below. As standard, the left head is fixed. The right head is mobile and is moved using a highly precise servo drive. The cutting length readout is completely independent of the drive for the mobile head. The machine is equipped with fixed stops for angles of 45º and 90º. Intermediate angles can also be achieved. Both heads are equipped with main vertical and horizontal clamping devices. The discs, set at an angle of 45º inwards, eliminate the need for corrections. Because the cutting discs extend from bottom to top and the main vertical clamping devices act on the profile at the point of its highest stiffness, the profile does not bend in the housing groove. This ensures that both the angles and planes are maintained, with the additional support of the horizontal clamping device. The machine's operation is controlled via an independent control panel equipped with a DELL PC.
