The H&R Log Splitter RM480-B is the ideal assistant for your firewood preparation. The new 2026 model impresses with state-of-the-art technology and high performance for efficient sawing, splitting, and conveying of firewood.
Thanks to the innovative design and powerful hydraulic system, work with this splitting machine becomes significantly easier – perfect for professional forestry operations and ambitious DIYers.

Performance: The splitter is equipped with a powerful 15 HP petrol engine (RM 480 B). Alternatively, it is also available with a 13 HP electric motor (RM 480 E).
Log length and diameter: Logs up to 3 metres long can be securely placed on the sturdy standard table. The splitter handles logs up to 48 cm in diameter and cuts them to lengths up to 60 cm.
Hydraulic system: The machine features a hydraulic saw bar. The hydraulic log clamp ensures secure fixation of the wood during the splitting process.
Hydraulic height adjustment of the splitting cross is possible. You can choose between the supplied 4-way and 6-way splitting wedges – for flexible splitting patterns and individual adaptation to your needs.
Conveyor belt: The newly designed 2.2 m feed belt facilitates log loading, while the laterally pivoting discharge belt makes transferring the split wood effortless.
Mobile use: The splitter weighs only 750 kg including the trailer, and thanks to its practical transport frame, it can be moved by hand without difficulty.
Easy operation: All functions can conveniently be operated hydraulically, making it suitable for extended operating periods.
